April  2006: Stripped Naked!
 
Now that's an attention getter.  Sorry it's only a car!  When I'd bought the car, I figured there wasn't much left to dismantle, still took a few weekends though to strip it completely.  I wanted to inspect the whole body for rust, as I don't want any cover ups once in the shop.  There's a few problem areas, mostly externally.  The cowl looks ok but as I'm doing a proper job of this, it's coming off anyway.  That's next on the to-do list. Why do I think this is going to take longer than I thought............

Check out the metal in this baby.  Floors to envy!  The pillar posts, the trunk corners and the side vents are where the rust issues are. The 'attempted' repairs are courtesy a previous owner.  Click the pics to enlarge as usual.
